New LearningStone forms generator
If you use LearningStone, you probably rely on the built in forms generator for everything from intakes and evaluations to quizzes and logbooks. We have just launched a powerful update that makes these forms much smarter.
Read on to see how we’ve improved progress saving and introduced a new "Learning & Testing" mode.
New LearningStone forms generator
We have completely re-developed the forms architecture under the hood. While the tech is fancy, the result for you is simple: a new "Save progress for later continuation" option.
When enabled, respondents filling out long surveys—or those who get distracted—won’t lose their answers. Saving happens automatically with each page, and users can also click "Save and stop" at any time to finish later. You can find this toggle in your form settings under Filling in.
Usually, quizzes wait until the end to provide feedback. The downside? It’s hard for users to process all that feedback at once.
For maximum learning impact, you often want to give feedback immediately after each question. However, this usually allows users to go back and fix their answers, ruining the "test" aspect.
The solution: Our new update allows you to give immediate feedback while preventing backtracking. This lets you teach and test simultaneously without compromising the results.

The "Progressive Feedback" Method
The goal is to enable the participant to learn without compromising the integrity of the assessment (testing).
1. Structure the Quiz
2.Lock the Progress
To ensure the respondent is "tested," you must prevent them from retroactively changing answers after seeing the feedback.
Note: don’t confuse this with the option “Instant feedback, (learning mode)”. This lets the respondent change answers, which can be useful for exploration, but not for testing.
